About Conference

The 2017 IEEE International Conference on Advanced Robotics and Mechatronics (ICARM 2017) will take place in Hefei and Tai’an, China, during August 27th – 31st, 2017. Hefei locates in the central portion of Anhui province and embraces one of the five largest freshwater lakes (Chaohu Lake) in China. It has many enchanting views such as Lord Bao Temple and Sanhe Ancient Town, while Tai’an lies at the south foot of Mount Taishan which is considered as the first of the five sacred mountains of China. Both cities will not only provide the attendees with a great venue for this event, but also a great chance to experience the beautiful natural landscape and traditional culture.

*15 minutes (Speech : 12 minutes, Q&A : 3 minutes) are scheduled for oral presentation including discussions for each paper.

*30 minutes (core time) are scheduled for poster presentation. The conference will provide an exhibition board (height 0.9m, width 0.6m,) for each poster paper. The poster print size is 0.85m (height) × 0.55m (width) (Please make by yourself). The boards will be arranged in order of the paper in the program book. Tape and other materials will be provided on site, and volunteer-assistants will give necessary help. Posters are required to be condensed and attractive. The characters should be large enough so that they are visible from 1 meter apart.

University of Science and Technology of China
The University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is a prominent university in China and enjoys an excellent reputation worldwide. South China University of Technology (SCUT) is one of the leading universities in China. It is directly affiliated to the State Ministry of Education. Located in the city of Guangzhou, the thriving metropolis in South China, it covers a total area of 294 hectares consisting of two campuses: Wushan Campus and University Town Campus. The university was formerly known as South China Institute of Technology, which was first established in 1952 by merging several major polytechnic institutes in Guangdong province at the time, and also absorbing a number of relevant departments from universities in other provinces.
